Wow, I don't get where the 1 star reviews are coming from!!! The place is extremely well run and the people that work there are exceptional people. I wish all the people I come in contact with during my day were like the stylists at this Camarillo Store! I have been a customer of the Carmen/Camarillo Store for a couple years - So here is my experience, I walk in everyone, and I mean EVERYONE says "hello, welcome"! I key in my phone number and sit down. My name is on the monitor saying how long until it is my turn. When my turn the Stylist calls my name, I sit down and my preferred style/cut is printed on the little card. My hair is cut, pleasant conversation, and I'm done. I pay/check out on the keypad and I am done. It is quick, friendly and the consistently the best experience I have had getting a hair cut. The whining in the 1 star review's has NEVER been my experience and I have never seen anyone with the problems mentioned. I can only assume some desire to attack this very successful establishment and it's employees.

I like the Sport Clips concept, especially the hot towel & scalp massage and have been a regular customer for about 2 years at the Camarillo location. However, I won’t be coming back because of habitual problems with their computer system. I bought a 6 pack of MVP haircuts and the computer couldn’t find my 6th pre-paid haircut so the store charged me for it a second time. I reviewed my records and confirmed I’d only received 5 of the 6 haircuts I’d paid for. I asked the manager to e-mail or call me with a list of dates when I’d used the haircuts but she never got back to me and I had to dispute the charges with Citibank. Also, every time I try to leave a tip with my credit card, the staff can’t get the computer to work right and they have to call a manager to fix it. It’s a shame because the haircuts are good and I like the overall experience, but the unreliability of their records and the service of the staff make it so that I won’t be going back. It’s just not worth the hassle.

Very poor customer service. When we initially called to make an appointment because the online check was “unavailable at this time” the lady argued with me and told me “it works for everyone else” and declined to check us in over the phone. After we refreshed the app and we were able to get it to work we were told to be there at 1:56 (50 minute wait) we arrived at 1:58 and were told that since we didn’t show up on time our stylist was now on a 1 hour lunch break. The lady was rude and did not apologize for the inconvenience. I have had a good experience with this company till today. I would like you to do better.
